Barre Besties

Hi everyone!
I am here with a quick post.
I created this simple little card with the small amount of
craft supplies I have at home (and that isn't much)
When I do get them back and open them it's going to be like Christmas.
For real! It makes me sad to even think about it. sigh...
Anyway, I have been taking a barre class since around last November.
I have loved it and have made some amazing friends.
One of those ladies, Bridget, recently had a birthday.
I drew this image for my barre girls and plan to make them all
a card using the image at some point but this one was for Bridget's
birthday. We had so much fun eating and hanging out. And she seemed to love her card.

Our NOVEMBER challenge at Freshly Brewed Challenges is to use
PASTELS or create a FRIENDSHIP themed card.

I hope you will play along with us this month.

Have a beautiful and blessed day!

OOOH MY GOSHHH!!!

It has been forever since I have posted.
I am in the process of trying to sell my house...
now waiting on hurricane Matthew to make a visit :/
so I haven't had much crafty time. Plus, I packed most of my stuff
away while I am showing the house. I feel SO WEIRD without
my crafty stuff / creative time. Maybe that's why I have been so moody.
hmm...

Anyway, I did have time to create this little card for a very wonderful
friend of mine's birthday. She is so special to me and I am sure many of you
as well. She, Carolyn, recently had found out she had ovarian cancer.
Went in for a complete hysterectomy and just received the call letting her
know they were able to remove all of the cancer and she is now cancer free!
Praise the Lord!

I am telling you, I have had enough of this cancer mess.
I have watched my mom go through all of the pain, hurt, and sickness when
she had hers. Then my grandmother died early June with lukemia. Carolyn
had to go through everything she did. And now my friend's husband has
found out he has prostate cancer. I am just really sick of cancer.
It makes me so upset / angry if I let it...
but I have watched God move in each of these lives in such a big way.
Healing, comforting, loving. He is a GOOD GOOD God!
I praise Him and thank Him every day for the things he is doing in
our lives and for all he has brought us through.

Ok, back to the card...

I used the digi: Lil Sweetie Make A Wish

This card was also created for our OCTOBER
Freshly Brewed Challenge: SWEET TREATS
with a SPLASH OF GREEN

Have a very happy and blessed day

Giveforward Fundraiser for my friend Carolyn Bounds

My beautiful friend, Carolyn, was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has given me permission to start a fundraiser for her. Many of you know her through the card making world. She is such a beautiful person, inside and out. She makes us laugh, cry, laugh more. I have never met anyone as positive and happy as she is. She is always doing things for others and now it's our turn to show her how much she means to us. Please stop by and let her know you love her and are praying for her. Thank you so much!

You Sweet Bunny!

Good... almost night.
I got on at exactly this time this morning to upload a card
and prepare a post. I ran out the door. Dropped my son off at my moms.
Took my daughter (and her school books) to the dance studio
and I took a cardio / strength class with a group of wonderful older ladies.
They crack me up. It's my second time taking a class with them.
The fist was Zumba. Not my style for sure. I was all over the place.
I have no coordination. :/ My children certainly didn't get their dancing abilities from me.
After class I stopped back by my moms. Brought the kids home.
Worked on school and cleaned house. Cooked lunch.
Took kids for a 1/2 off frappe at Starbucks. Took them to the park.
Then home, changed, and took my daughter to dance.
I brought my son home. Cooked his dinner. Finished his history.
Fed the dog. Washed my sheets and cleaned kitchen again.
My dad came over to get our old recliner. .... and
now it is 7 pm. The day completely got away from me.
So I am here exactly 12 hours later completing this post.

I am here to share a card with you, of course!
I had fun creating this little card. I used a NEW FBD Digi

I know it looks a little... weird... but I made this
bunny embellishment out of felt. I sewed it all together.
added the fuzzy tail. It was cute until I added it to the card.
Oh well... I tried :D

I colored this with a mix of copic markers and prismacolor markers. The
papers are all from my OLD stack of left overs. I have SO many papers
that I have no idea where they came from!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me today!
I hope you have a very blessed and happy week.

Spring Cupcakes .... yes please!

OK... so I am on a diet.
I have gained so much weight lately it is ridiculous!
So I joined a Barre class at my daughters dance studio.
It is held twice a week. I will also be participating in one
cardio class (which is tonight) and I am scared :D lol!!!
So... no cupcakes for me... unless I am coloring them... and
sometimes that's just as good.....
who am I kidding. No it's not! lol!!!
I can tell you I am SO EXCITED for my daughters upcoming birthday (near the end of the month)
because that will be my 'cheat day' and I will eat one cupcake or one slice of cake
(but that's all) and I will enjoy every crumb! :D

Are you ready for some FAT FREE cupcakes?
Check out our LIL SWEETIES.
we just released 5 new images today and hope that you love them
as much as we do :)

I created this card using LIL SWEETIE SPRING FLOWERS

I colored this sweetie using prismacolor markers AND copic markers.
All of the papers are from my stash. I know I have had the green dot (handmade)
paper for about 8 years now. I have hoarded it. I have no idea where any of
these came from. Just my hoarded OLD stack of papers. sigh...

The sequins were one of those last minute decisions. I pulled them out of my
drawer (forgetting I took the cap off to make a super hero stand for my son)
and they went everywhere. In my lap. On the floor. So I took that as conformation
to use them on the card. I had to pick them up one by one anyway... why not put some
to use. :) I also added a few little epoxy stickers, a tiny clothes pin and a pretty pink rose.

I used this SPLITCOAST STAMPERS Sketch SC582
as my inspiration (and if you follow SCS you will know the challenge posted today... so
I totally procrastinated and put the card together this morning. Hence the late post.
I colored the image last week... but never found time to put it together. It is what it is.
I still think this card turned out really sweet :)

Here are all of our NEW RELEASED digis:
